It
is my pleasure to invite you to the 8th annual ACMEGS meeting which will be held at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay in Miami,
Florida, February 7, 2013 during the ACNS Annual meeting. We will be holding the ACMEGS annual full-day Course on the
Principles and Practice of Clinical Magnetoencephalography on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. The goal of the course is
to enhance physicians’, scientists’ and technologists’ competence and performance in the use of MEG techniques
and interpretation of findings. .
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies
of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of the American Clinical Neurophysiology
Society and the American Clinical Magnetoencephalography Society. The American Clinical Neurophysiology Society is accredited
by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. . The American Clinical Neurophysiology Society
designates this live activity for a maximum of 7.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should claim only the
credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. . Registration Fee: The course registration fee is $200, and for our members with
2012 institutional membership as well as associate members it will be only $150. For more details check
our web site.
The meeting registration fee for ACMEGS members with
2012 institutional membership as well as for associate members is $75, for ACMEGS members from all other sites $150.
Non-members are welcome to join our sessions following the business meeting for a reduced fee
of $75.
The registration fee for our members includes meeting materials
as well as the traditional society dinner. Please RSVP if you plan to attend the society dinner. Accommodations: ACNS has reserved a block of rooms at the Miami Marriott Biscayne
Bay. Registrants may make their room reservations through the ACNS website www.acns.org Reservations are subject to availability.
Room rates can only be guaranteed until January 8, 2012. Rates are $239 Single or Double plus charges
and 13% tax . Transportation: The Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay is approximately
7.5 miles from the Miami International Airport (MIA) and approximately 25 miles from the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International
Airport (FLL). The hotel does not provide shuttle service. Alternate transportation can be provided by Premier Transportation
(888-564-1077) for $15.00 per person each way - 24 hour reservation required. Taxi service is also available. . In
